Proposal: Monthly Content Retainer for Juniper Lane Bakery

Prepared for: Maya Chen, Owner, Juniper Lane Bakery (fictional client, juniperlane.example) Prepared by: Northside Studio Date: 22 October 2026

1. The situation

Juniper Lane has two shops, a loyal weekday crowd and a weekend line out the door. Online, the picture is thinner. The Instagram account posts about twice a month, the Google Business profile has photos from 2023, and the website menu still lists the summer tarts. People who already know the bakery keep coming. People searching "sourdough near me" find the chain store first.

The goal of this proposal is simple: make the bakery as easy to find online as it is to love in person, without taking Maya's time away from the ovens.

2. What we will do each month

Work	Volume	Notes
Instagram and Facebook posts	12	Product photos, behind-the-counter moments, weekly specials
Short vertical videos	4	15 to 30 seconds, shot on site in one morning visit
Google Business updates	4 posts + fresh photos	Holiday hours, new items, events
Website menu refresh	As needed	Seasonal items swapped within 48 hours of the change
Monthly report	1 page	Reach, profile views, direction requests, top posts

We batch the shooting into one two-hour visit at the start of each month. Maya approves a content calendar by the 3rd. Everything after that is on us.

3. Timeline

Week 1: Kickoff call, brand notes, photo library audit, access to accounts.
Week 2: First shoot day. Google Business profile cleaned up and re-verified.
Week 3: First month of posts scheduled. Website menu updated.
Week 4: First report and a short call to adjust what is and is not working.

4. How we will measure it

We will track three numbers from day one and report them every month:

Google Business direction requests. This is the closest proxy for new foot traffic.
Instagram profile visits. Shows whether posts make people curious about the bakery.
Pre-orders for holiday boxes. A direct revenue signal we can tie to specific posts.

We will set the baseline in week 1 and agree on targets together after the first full month, once we have real numbers rather than guesses.

5. Investment

Monthly retainer: a fixed fee covering everything in section 2.
Term: three months to start, then month to month with 30 days notice.
Not included: paid ads spend, printed materials, and photography outside the monthly shoot.

6. What we need from Juniper Lane

One contact who can approve the calendar within two working days.
Admin access to Instagram, Facebook, Google Business and the website.
A heads-up on new menu items at least a week before launch.

7. Next steps

If this looks right, reply to confirm and we will send the agreement and book the kickoff call for the first week of November. That gives us time to have the holiday box campaign live before the December rush.
