Step 1: Open Google Slides: Open your Google Slides presentation.

Step 2: Insert Image or Shape: Click on the slide where you want to add the image or shape. Then click on "Insert" in the top menu and select "Image" or "Shape" to add your element to the slide.

Step 3: Fill Color: After inserting the shape, you can click on it to select it. Then, in the toolbar at the top, there might be a "Fill color" button. Click on this button.

Step 4: Customize Color: In the color palette that appears, there could be an option to choose a custom color. Click on this option to open the custom color palette.

Step 5: Adjust Transparency: In the custom color palette, you might find a slider or input field that allows you to adjust the transparency of the selected color. Move the slider to the left to decrease transparency (increasing opacity) or to the right to increase transparency (decreasing opacity) as per your needs.
