How to highlight a text with colour in google slides
Open your Google Slides Presentation:

Select the Text You Want to Highlight:

Click on the "Text Color" Button in the Toolbar:

A Dropdown Menu Will Appear:
Click on "Custom" to Choose a Specific Color:

In the "Custom" Dialog Box:
Once You've Chosen Your Color, Click "Apply":
