Enhance your Google Slides with vibrant visuals learn to highlight text effectively for impactful presentations

Creating visually engaging presentations is essential for effective communication. In Google Slides, adding emphasis to key points is crucial, and one way to achieve this is by highlighting text with color. Whether you want to draw attention to important information or organize content, mastering the art of text highlighting can significantly enhance the visual appeal and impact of your presentations. Let's explore how to effectively highlight text with color in Google Slides to elevate the quality and clarity of your slides.

In the "Custom" Dialog Box:

In the "Custom" dialog box, you can either choose a predefined color from the options provided or enter a custom color code.

Conclusion:

Following these detailed steps ensures that you can effectively highlight text with color in your Google Slides presentation, adding emphasis and visual appeal to your content. Keep in mind that this method changes the text color itself; it doesn't add a background color or a traditional highlighting effect. If you want to add a background color, you can use the "Background color" option in the toolbar, but note that this will apply to the entire text box, not just the selected text.
