In this article we will dee dive into how to hide a slide in google slides in few simple steps.

Creating a polished and engaging presentation is a crucial skill for professionals, educators, and students alike. Google Slides offers a user-friendly platform for crafting captivating slideshows, but what if you want to hide a slide temporarily or exclude it from your presentation without deleting it? While Google Slides doesn't have a direct "hide" feature, we've got you covered with two simple and effective methods to manage your slides seamlessly. In this guide, we'll walk you through the steps for hiding slides during a presentation or relocating them to a discreet section. Let's dive in and discover how to take control of your Google Slides!
Method 1: Skip a Slide During Presentation
Open your Google Slides presentation: Log in to your Google account, go to Google Drive, and locate the presentation you want to edit. Open it by double-clicking.

Access the Slide Sorter View: Once your presentation is open, you'll see a list of slides on the left-hand sidebar. This is known as the Slide Sorter view. Click on this sidebar to access it.

Identify the Slide to Hide: In the Slide Sorter view, locate the slide you want to hide. Click on that specific slide to select it.

Skip the Slide: With the slide selected, right-click on it. A context menu will appear. From this menu, choose "Skip slide." This action will exclude the selected slide when you are presenting your slides to an audience.

Method 2: Move the Slide to a Hidden Section
Open your Google Slides presentation: Log in to your Google account, go to Google Drive, and locate the presentation you want to edit. Open it by double-clicking.

Select the Slide to Hide: In the Slide Sorter view, click on the slide you want to hide to select it. It will be highlighted.
Move the Slide: With the slide selected, click and drag it to the location where you want to hide it. This can be at the end of your presentation or within a section that you don't plan to present. When you release the mouse button, the slide will be repositioned to the new location.
