Claude Code can read the README and product notes already in your repo and turn them into an investor deck. It pulls the problem, product and traction straight from your files, writes the slides, and builds them in MagicSlides.
Set up MagicSlides in Claude Code (one time)
Run this once. Add --scope user to make MagicSlides available in every project.
claude mcp add --transport http magicslides https://www.magicslides.app/api/mcp/mcp/mcpPick magicslides and log in with MagicSlides in the browser tab that opens.
- 1.Run the command in your terminal.
- 2.Start claude, type /mcp, select magicslides and log in.
- 3.Ask for a deck. Claude Code calls the MagicSlides tools and prints the links.

FAQ
Can Claude Code use files from my repo for the deck?
Yes. It reads local files, including PDFs, so it can build slides from a README, docs folder or metrics export.
Do I need an API key?
No. You log in with MagicSlides through OAuth after typing /mcp.
Can it pull live numbers before building the deck?
Yes. Claude Code runs shell commands, so it can run a script or curl an endpoint and put the results on the slides.
What do I get back?
A present link, a link per slide, and PPTX and PDF downloads. The deck also opens in the MagicSlides editor.
